Holiday Concert... CANCELLED

Good news, the warm weather has turned to snow! Just the thing we need to get into the holiday spirit.
Bad News... we need to cancel tonight's concert, as we had so many small children participating. (A school on a hill is good for sledding, but not for walking...).
So, spend tonight frolicking in the snow with your kids!
Happy Holidays from MAG.

Sat Aug 29: SHADOW CREEK BAND (Rain-Rain.. STAY AWAY!)

Let's all hope for a strong gust of wind to blow this tropical storm back out to sea! Cause we want to see SHADOW CREEK this saturday night. SHADOW CREEK is a four piece Country and Classic Rock Dance Band featuring Jim McDermott (Lead Guitar), Bruce Carlson (Pedal Steel Guitar), Alan Rapp (Drums) and Greg Chasse (Bass Guitar). Charlie Staxx, keyboard player from the Phantoms, will be sitting in on Saturday's concert.
The fun and energy of this band is very contagious. You can’t help but tap your feet and make your way to the dance floor.
So let's all face East, and huff and puff this storm back out to sea! ... and should that fail, come back to this site for concert updates.

Sat Aug 15: Vickie Russell

MAG is thrilled to have Vickie Russell back again this summer. Last year's concert was a perfect Millbrook evening; fantastic weather, a beautiful moon and great music. Let's all pray for good weather! http://www.vickierussell.com/

Vickie Russell, touring singer/songwriter based in New Paltz, NY, performs her stunningly original heartfelt songs on keyboard and guitar. With influences from Bach and Chopin to Carol King, Elton John and Sting, Russell will pull you into her world of love, laughter and hope. This award winning versatile artist keeps audiences enthralled whether she's taking things slow on painfully honest pop ballads such as Walk Away and Welcome Home, wailing the blues on Manville, or sharing a funny true life story through a country tune like Next.

"Concertgoers have enjoyed her as a main act as well as when opening for names like the 10,000 Maniacs, Donovan, Rick Danko, Leon Russell, Richie Havens, Tuck and Patti, Cris Williamson, Full Frontal Folk, David Wilcox, Jeffrey Gaines, Peter Mayer, Groovelily, John Flynn, Chris Smither, Cheryl Wheeler, Lesley Gore and Jill Sobule. Playing throughout the USA, Europe, Japan and in her native New York hotspots, Vickie Russell is winning the hearts of audiences around the world."

Sat Aug 1st: Dr. Peter Muir and Steve Fabrizio

Come see Millbrook's own Dr. Peter Muir and Steve Fabrizio; “A Hundred Years of Broadway”. Concert is on! ... as of Thursday... hopefully the weather will cooperate.

British pianist Peter Muir plays ragtime, blues and early jazz in a totally original and compelling style.

Steve Fabrizio is a smooth new artist on the music scene. He has a fresh sound that is reflective of a time gone by. As a singer his powerful voice has you visualizing him on a broadway stage. At the same time he takes you back to the night clubs of the 40's where the great saloon singers performed. As a songwriter you will find his music touches something in all of us. www.stevefabrizio.com/
